P.C.K Aryan Vedic School

The Arya Sabha Mauritius, a socio-religious institution, is running two Primary Schools:
1. Pandit Cashinath Kistoe Aryan Vedic School
2. Ramsaroop Ramgutty Aryan Vedic School
Both are managed by the Hindu Education Authority, a legal corporate body with the main objective, besides teaching academic subjects, to promote and propagate among the younger generation the Vedic culture and inculcate in the young minds the Vedic philosophy and principles as propounded by Swami Dayananda Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj Movement.
The Pandit Cashinath Kistoe Aryan Vedic School located in the town of Vacoas has school population of 1,500 pupils and is classified among the star schools of Mauritius. It bears the name of a great Mauritian Social Reformer, Pandit Cashinath Kistoe. On the other hand the one located at Laventure, a village in the eastern region of the country, bears the name of a Mauritian philanthropist, Ramsaroop Ramgutty, and has a school population of 500 pupils.
Both Aryan Vedic Schools are run with the financial assistance from the State and the Arya Sabha, Mauritius.
